Commissions!

3 min read
So, guess what guys?

I'm a broke college kid and a poorly paid Disney employee who desperately needs money! My Canadian Visa card has suffered while I've been down here, trying to cope with the fact that life is expensive and Disney pays me next to nothing. However, I have big plans for my future, and therefore regardless of my spending problems, I need to start saving up money, and offering my artistic services for monetary compensation. Right now the goal is to attend Canterlot Gardens, buy a new computer that isn't a piece of crap, and a personal luxury that while I would like to make happen, isn't necessary. But most importantly right now, Canterlot Gardens. So I've begun to work more hours and budget my money in order to make this trip happen. However, I don't think that will be enough. My average paycheck from Disney is around $150 a week, sometimes less. Even if I take out $50 a week for personal use such as groceries and such, that's only $100 a week getting put away. That's where the commissions come in.

I'm offering commissions of my pony artwork. =D Here's the price rundown:

Digital Sketch - $5
Digital Linework - $10
Digital Colour - $15
Digital Colour w/ Background - $20 (I'm horrible at backgrounds so these will take more effort, therefore more money)

Vector Linework - $15
Vector Colour - $20
Vector w/ Background - $25 (will probably be a show background, because I haven't mastered the preciseness of vector backgrounds yet)

*These prices are including one pony of your choice, OC or canon. Add $5 for every additional character included.
*Vectors are more expensive simply because they take so much longer.
*I can also create conbadges for any OC ponies/ponysonas that would like one, either digital colour or vector pieces with digital text/effects. Note me for con badge prices.
** If I am drawing an OC of yours, please provide me with a reference or a very detailed description, so I can accurately protray your character and bring them to life!

If anypony is interested, considering the art I've got in my gallery as my examples, let me know!

Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks sooooo much you guys! <3

I just wanted to post a journal, thanking everypony for being so awesome!

I'd like to thank everyone who's visiting, having and downloading my pieces! I'm really glad that they got to be so popular! I'd also like to thank all my new watchers! The dA community of bronies and artists has been just awesome, and I'd like to thank you all for welcoming me into the community as quickly as you did! You all rock!

Just to keep you guys updated:

I haven't posted art in a while, but I am not dead, I promise!

I've got a couple of sketches done of some pieces I'm working on! I've drawn up my OC finally, in my own personal pony style. I've also got another merpony coming up, as well as a portrait of my OC in my Walt Disney World costume, hard at work. I'm really excited to share these pieces with you all, but first I've gotta get them onto my computer somehow so I can vector them! (I don't have my scanner here, so I may have to invest in one).

Anyways, just wanted to keep you guys in the loop, and not to lost faith - I will be posting more art soon! Probably on my days off.

So to sum up - A BIG OL' THANK YOU TO EVERYPONY FOR BEING SOOO AWESOME.

Also, as a quick side note - if you'd like to follow me on Twitter (which is where I update about my art and just general life facts), my username is tashiepie :D I'll probably follow you back!

Welp, it's time for me to head off to the parks! Stay cool, everypony!

Your faithful artist,

Hey there everypony!

So, I'm pretty new to the whole deviantArt thing! I figured I'd make a little journal to describe what I'm about!

I'm a 20-year-old college student from Toronto, Canada. I got into the pony fandom around July (this time) of last year at a different convention. I saw Sophie Cabra's Rainbow Dash and Applejack fursuits and got all interested in the whole MLP thing. So I went home and when My Little Pony kept popping up everywhere, I decided to watch it to see what all the fuss was about. Now, I'm a cartoon lover by heart, as an avid Disney and Cartoon Network fan. So it's really no surprise that I immediately fell in love with the show, especially when I saw Pinkie Pie for the first time. I was hooked, and I've been a Pegasister ever since! It's actually this show that has inspired me to go after my dream of Voice Acting. I've been a threatre major in university in the past before I moved on to college, and I'm really well known amongst people for how many different voices I throw out on a regular basis (and I've been told I do a commendable Pinkie impersonation)!

I've been an artist all my life as well, so naturally I have a very strong desire to draw ponies, all day erryday. So I do! I've kept my art mostly to myself, but I figured I may as well jump right into the fandom and get my own deviantArt, where the community is so huge! If people like my art enough, I'll even start offering commissions/making prints of more popular pieces. So we'll have to see! I'm also a crafter, so I'll probably try my hand at plushies eventually and see how that works out! I do love plushies. Also, I haven't quite made a ponysona yet, still working on it. The closest would be my OC Cookie Doe, but she's not my official ponysona. Keep your eyes peeled for that whenever it comes along!!

Anywhoozle. That's about it! There's a lot more to me than just ponies, but that actually encompasses more than half of my interests/time/life so, that's really all that matters on here! :D

Welp! Great meeting everypony! :D Hope you all like my work!
